Thompson Law, a nationally growing personal injury firm based in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas, seeks a Learning & Development Coordinator to join the team! 

The Position:  

The Learning & Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the coordination and documentation of employee training initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records of training activities, updating training materials, and ensuring that all resources are accessible and well-organized. The role supports the facilitation of orientation and ongoing development programs but is primarily focused on documenting and tracking training efforts across the organization. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and committed to supporting continuous learning through effective documentation and communication. 

Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate orientation training sessions for new team members, ensuring that the 

material is regularly updated as required 

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of training programs, workshops, and Lunch & learns. 

• Maintain and update training materials and resources. 

• Ensure that all training materials are accessible to the relevant parties. 

• Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training needs within their department and the organization at large. 

• Support the creation of training content and materials, including presentations and job aids.

• Coordinate instruction of individuals in both face-to-face and telephone communication skills 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience in training coordination and employee development (3-5 years). 

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently. 

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs. 

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.
