Operations Supervisor – Negotiations Paralegal
Job purpose
The Operations Supervisor – Negotiations Paralegal is part of an Attorney-led team in our operations department and is responsible for all aspects of the second phase of the case including approving demands and negotiating settlements. This role directly reports to the Operations Attorney. The Operations Supervisor – Negotiations Paralegal manages and supports the Negotiation Paralegals.
Duties and responsibilities
· Provide insight & feedback for processes & procedures.
· Train new hires and provide refresher training as needed.
· Supervise time and attendance for their perspective teams.
· Interview prospective candidates based on business needs.
· Serve as subject matter expert to negotiations processes and procedures.
· Track and evaluate KPI’s for the negotiation’s paralegal teams.
· Evaluate forecasting and business analytics for Firm.
Qualifications
· Education: High school diploma or GED
· Experience:
2+ years of case management experience
· Special Knowledge: Bilingual is a plus; medical knowledge is a plus.
· Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with Smart Advocate a plus
· Attributes: This position requires excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
