The Business Development Analyst is part of business development team and is responsible for business development, vendor relationships as well as data entry. This role directly reports to the Director of Business Development. The Business Development Analyst supports business marketing and development as well as the relationships between the firm and vendors.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prioritizes and coordinates with team members exports of data for business development efforts and prepares custom reports on an as-needed basis.
- Database management of all approved vendors.
- Maintaining the provider map for new and existing markets.
- Cold calling and vetting of vendors in new and expected market areas.
- Participate in regular team and department meetings.
- Partnering with attorneys and BD colleagues to leverage data and insights to win new business.
- Evaluate forecasting and business analytics for Firm.
- Process inquiries in the business development ticketing system
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience:
- 3+ years of marketing and or sales experience
- Special Knowledge: Bilingual is a plus; medical knowledge is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with Smart Advocate a plus
- Attributes: This position requires excellent organization and communication skills as well as the ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Occasional travel may be required
